Natus Vincere can pass on BLAST Global Final – they need to win in Copenhagen

Natus Vincere and Cloud9 retained their chances of a slot in the final competition of the season from BLAST – Global Final. To get to the CS: GO championship, teams need to win the BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen 2019. At the same time, Ninjas in Pajamas should take the last place.

This was reported by representatives of BLAST on Twitter. However, they only mentioned Natus Vincere, who have an equal number of BPS points with Cloud9. If one of the teams wins the championship, and NiP does not earn extra points, two teams will immediately claim the last slot in the Global Final. The tournament operator did not specify the rules for resolving disputes in such situations.

Starting with the BLAST Pro Series – São Paulo 2019, seven contestants earned BPS points. The organizers distributed the invitations so that each of them performed in four championships (before the cancellation of the tournament in Lisbon, it was necessary to play five). Teams could earn from two to ten points for each competition.

Team Points

Team Liquid 26
Astralis 22
FaZe Clan 20
Ninjas in Pajamas 16
MIBR 12
Natus Vincere 6
Cloud9 6

According to the results of the BLAST Pro Series Los Angeles 2019, three teams – Team Liquid, Astralis and FaZe Clan – guaranteed their place on the Global Final. After the tournament in Moscow, which became the fourth in a series for the MIBR, the team from Brazil lost their chances of reaching the final championship.

The BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen 2019 will be held November 1-2 in Denmark. Six teams will play $ 250 thousand and 30 BPS points. The final championship of the season will be held in Bahrain. His prize fund will be $ 500 thousand.
